Sleep in Women: Across the Lifespan
Menarche. Motherhood. Menopause. Let’s talk about what no one is sleeping on
About the event
Hosted by Auckland Sleep.
🗓️ Wednesday 13 August, 6pm
📍Ramada by Wyndham, Newmarket, Auckland
Sleep affects every aspect of our health, but women are getting the short end of the (melatonin) stick. From puberty to pregnancy to hot flashes, a woman’s sleep is disrupted more often, more deeply, and for more reasons than most realise.
This isn’t just about “being tired.” Sleep loss in women is tied to burnout, anxiety, memory issues, poor metabolic health, and significant relationship stress. And yet, for decades, sleep research focused almost entirely on men. We’re changing that.
This event brings together a powerhouse panel of health professionals and sleep experts to unpack what’s happening across the female life span — and what we can do about it.
Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to learn more about how sleep impacts women's health and well-being at every stage of life. See you there!
