Join us as we light up Auckland in celebration of Tend Women’s Health Week 2026.

Following the success of last year’s Sky Tower lighting, we’re bringing the purple glow back to Auckland with both the Sky Tower and Auckland Harbour Bridge lighting up in honour of women’s health and wellbeing.

‍

Bring your friends, whānau, partners and loved ones along for a special Auckland moment. Make a night of it and take a walk along the iconic Viaduct Harbour for an amazing view or cross the Auckland Light Path for a beautiful view of Sky Tower.

‍

Head out, enjoy the view and capture a photo with the purple-lit landmarks as we shine a light on the importance of women prioritising their health.

Together, let’s celebrate wāhine and remind everyone that women’s health matters.

Dr. Eileen is a GP at Tend Pakuranga with decades of service to the community. Renowned for her ability to explain health issues in simple, accessible language, she was the resident doctor on the popular TV show Good Morning with Mary Lambie.

Professor Bev Lawton (ONZM)

With 17 years as a GP, Bev (Ngāti Porou) is an academic at Victoria University. She has been recognised for her contributions to women's health, particularly advancing Māori health and cervical cancer prevention through equitable and innovative practices.

OBGYN Dr Olivia is an advanced laparoscopic surgeon with a focus on women’s health, particularly endometriosis, vulvo-vaginal disorders, and colposcopy. Trained in the UK and NZ, she has introduced new techniques for treating painful sexual intercourse.
